TAFE Distance Learning OTEN-DE
TAFE NSW - Open Training and Education Network-Distance Education (OTEN-DE) institute offers Non English Speaking Background (NESB) students distance education courses to meet their needs. OTEN-DE also offers, integrated English and vocational (Advanced English stream) courses under LLNP, for those students who have a language proficiency NRS3. OTEN-DE also offers English Language - ESOL (Basic English stream) if language proficiency is below NRS3. OTEN-DE is the specialist distance education and open learning organisation of TAFE NSW, with more than 33,000 students enrolled in over 250 courses. Studying with OTEN-DE gives students the opportunity to study at their own pace and at places that best suit their lifestyles, for example, at home, at work or at the local library. OTEN-DE has well-designed learning materials and offers on-line support in many subject areas. In addition, tutorial support and learner support is available.
