Samvel Gevorgyan

I am the director of BSC Business Support Center, the first consulting, training, research and entrepreneurship development company in Armenia. I am experienced and qualified management consultant and an accredited MCEP/CMCE (certificate in management consulting essentials) trainer and evaluator by Institute of Consulting in the UK, being selected by EBRD BAS Program and receiving Certificate of Excellence in Management Consulting Essentials. Currently, I am the member of IC UK. I am the founding president of the Institute of Management Consulting, IMC Armenia (September, 2011 – November 2012) and currently am an active board member.

Since September, 2013 I work with EBRD to train representatives of consulting companies from 25 operation countries of EBRD (Management of consulting company, Project management, CMCE, Marketing and sales and other topics).

Since 1995, I’ve been personally engaged in over 550 major private business and community development projects including development of entrepreneurship, business and investment plans, feasibility studies, researches and baseline studies and strategy developments.

I’ve gained notable experience during these 20 years being directly engaged in business consulting and training projects initiated by local and international companies and organizations from major sectors of economy covering hospitality and tourism, agriculture, IT, food production and service (both in Yerevan and in regions of Armenia). My references include major agencies and organizations such as USAID, EBRD, EU, OXFAM, GIZ, UNDP, World Vision, CARE, ICCO the Netherlands and other well-known and global institutions.

My management consulting expertise covers not only the region of Armenia but also the neighboring countries such as Georgia and CIS countries.

During the years of 2003-2009 I delivered practical lectures at French University of Armenia covering topics on Strategic management and Entrepreneurship.
