Or why do we need morality in the political scenario in the first place? What the future of Democracy is? What the ideal form of government is for the modern world and what it could all mean for the fight for human rights?
The broad outline of each lecture is:
Day 1: State, Morality- to what extent is a state a derivative of Morality
Day 2: Future of Democracy: Decentralisation and self-government
Day 3: Human Rights, Civil Disobedience and Individual work for change
Mehek Vajawatt is from India. She is now a student of the Law program at London School of Economics, London, UK. The event is hosted by the Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (IDHR) and was possible thanks to cooperation with Teachsurfing knowledge sharing network.
