Course Summary:
The course develops the skills to:> present data in written form> structure a report appropriately> select appropriate language for a formal writing style> use linguistic devices to link ideas and provide cohesion> identify and remedy weaknesses in grammar.
Course Content:
> analysing models of good report writing
> practising key grammatical features e.g. passive voice, nominalisation and cohesive devices
> preparing a report and executive summary

Eligibility:
Non-English speaking background permanent residents of NSW who have overseas qualifications, training, and/or skills and experience, but who are not currently employed at the level of their expertise.
Training Provider:
