Overseas Qualified Nurses; Nursing Language
This course will assist adult participants from non-English speaking backgrounds who have a nursing qualification gained overseas to achieve the English language and literacy skills necessary to function at a professional level of competency for nursing in New South Wales. It will also equip them with the required English language skills to pass the required English tests for entry to the OverseasQualified Nurses Pre-Registration Assessment Program or the Overseas Qualified Enrolled Nurses Assessment Program.
Course Content:
> Professional and Ethical Issues in Nursing.
> Interaction-the Health Care Context, Nursing Care, the
Therapeutic Environment.
> Integrated Language Skills.
Certificate III in Nursing Language (Overseas Qualified Nurses) (4349).
Nurse with overseas qualifications as a registered or enrolled nurse. ISLPR 3.
