To develop the language and terminology skills of those migrants seeking to access training or employment in the health service industry.
This course will assist adult participants from non-English speaking backgrounds who have a nursing qualification gained overseas to achieve the English language and literacy skills necessary to function at a professional level of competency for nursing in New South Wales. It will also equip them with the required English language skills to pass the required English tests for entry to the OverseasQualified Nurses Pre-Registration Assessment Program or the Overseas Qualified Enrolled Nurses Assessment Program.
