The Russian School was officially opened in April 1979. In the first year there were 17 pupils and the school operated in two small rooms adjacent to the parish church. In 1980 the school moved to Narrabundah Primary School, where it operated until 2002.
Currently the school operated in the rooms above the Church Hall in Matina Street Narrabundah.
The curriculum of the school focuses on the following areas: practical knowledge of spoken and written Russian, literature and culture, Russian history and geography. Singing, drama and religious instruction are also part of the curriculum. Students are accepted from 5 years of age and are grouped by age and/or knowledge.
