The Summer School is organised by the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom (CMPF) at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies of the
Summer School and Dialogue for Journalists and Analysts
The Imagine Center for Conflict Transformation and the South Caucasus Open School with their networks are accepting applications for a Summer School and a Dialogue for emerging and experienced Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, and Turkish journalists and analysts to be held in a resort town in Georgia.
The School will provide space for dialogue and professional development in ethical reporting and public policy analysis for journalists and analysts from the region of the South Caucasus and Turkey. In the months following the School, the Project participants will have the opportunity for collaboration with existing online media outlets and analytical publications, such as the Caucasus Edition. The participants will produce monthly articles focused on the analysis of regional and local developments, as well as quarterly policy analysis and recommendations stimulating professional debate regarding the development of a vision for the future of the region.
The School is open for applications from Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, and Turkish journalists, editors, bloggers, analysts, and individuals interested in conflict transformation who have access to audiences in their respective societies through local networks and media. Participant selection for the Summer School will be balanced including individuals originating from conflict zones.
The working languages of the Summer School are English and Russian.
