AMEP Adult Migrant English Program
AMEP courses offer up to 510 hours of English language training to recent arrivals, leading to the award of the Certificate of Spoken and Written English Level I, II or III where appropriate. This competency based courseaims to develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Course Content:
Certificate of Spoken and Written English Levels I, II and III.
AMEP entitled clients are 18 or over, have less than functional English and are permanent residents who arrived after 1.7.91. Those 16 to 18 years may be admitted under special circumstances.

This is part of the 510 hours DIMIA entitlement, and is available to eligible migrants. Individual places may be available for fee paying students.
