Course Summary:
The total course covers all 7 modules of the International Computer Drivers Licence. Students are assessed progressively at the end of each module, with a possible exit point after 4 modules. Students are assessed concurrently on selected Learning Outcomes from CSWE III.
Course Content:
Start Certificate: Module 2 - Using the computer and managing files; Module 3 - Word processing; Module 6 - Power Point; Module 7 - Internet and email.
ICDL: Module 1: Basic concepts of IT; Module 4: Spreadsheets; Module 5 - Databases
ICDL: Module 1: Basic concepts of IT; Module 4: Spreadsheets; Module 5 - Databases
Outcomes:
Start Certificate on completion of Modules 2, 3, 6, 7. International Computer Drivers Licence on successful completion of remaining 3 modules. Credit for some Learning Outcomes at CSWE III.

Standard AMEP eligibility criteria apply.

NSW AMESRegistered with VETAB as an RTO

Total duration 130 hours. 10 weeks (Start Certificate). A further 10 weeks for ICDL.
