Patrick Meyer
Dr. Patrick Meyer has nearly 10 years experience as an energy and environmental policy specialist, including extensive fieldwork experience in nearly 20 countries. Currently serving as Science & Technology Advisor for the Economic Growth Office at the USAID Armenia Mission, he designs and executes clean energy and water programs to build a more secure and prosperous Armenian nation. In the past, Dr. Meyer has worked for the U.S. Department of State to help Southeast Asian nations design policies to build cleaner energy systems and attract competitive financing for clean technology development; for the American Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to advise the Government of Malaysia on their green development strategy; and for the United States Congress to design public policies for alternative energy development and STEM education. Dr. Meyer holds a Ph.D. in Energy & Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware. He is an avid cyclist, mountain biker, hiker, camper, and explorer.
