South Caucasus: The Eastern Door to Europe
We would like to invite you to our 1st DEMYC Council Meeting for 2015 in Yerevan, Armenia.
Together, we will discuss on the current political and economic situation in the South Caucasus region, the expansion of the Eastern Neighbourhood policy as well as further relations of the EU and the region.
The Council will take place during the commemorative activities of the Armenian Genocide Centennial; the 100 years since the Armenian tool place back in 1915. The event will comprise of meetings with key Armenia policy makers, panel and round table discussions, an action campaign, the adoption of a council resolution and cultural visits.
The event will be hosted by DEMYC full member, the Youth of the Republican Party of Armenia.

Topic and format
The focus of the conference will be on SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS, simulating a GENERAL ASSEMBLY session with three of its committees or three parallel thematic conferences or working groups.
Date and Venues
The conference will be held at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia (to be confirmed), two working days at the American University of Armenia, and the closing session at the UN House in Yerevan.
