ACL - AMEP Distance Learning
A learning activity for people who are unable to attend classes, for example, parents with childcare responsibilities, people restricted by work, or people who prefer to study at home. Distance Learning can be integrated with Multimedia centre learning, Home Tutor or community class provision. Regular phone, email and fax contact with a teacher provides support and feedback.
Course Content:
* Undertake study in the Certificates of Spoken and Written English I, II and III.
* Study at home using books, cassettes, videos and computers with reguler support from a teacher.
* May integrate Distance Learning with Home Tutor, Multimedia centre or community class provision depending on their individual needs.
Certificate in Spoken and Written English I, II and III.
AMEP entitled clients are 18 or over, have less than functional English and are permanent residents who arrived after 1.7.91.Those 16 to 18 years may be admitted under special circumstances.
