English – Certificate 2 in Spoken and Written English

Course Summary: 

This course develops English language proficiency in needs-based contexts which provide information on the Australian way of life and advice on accessing essential services(eg. employment, health services, shopping, educational options). All four skills are taught.

Course Content:

The course content is based on the NSW AMES Certificate 2 in Spoken and Written English curriculum framework.The course continues to develop communication skills in practical situations and consolidates the students'understanding of grammar.
Outcomes: 

>Certificate 2 in Spoken and Written English.>Pathway to Certificate 3 in Spoken and Written English (various special focus course options available at Certificate 3 level).

Eligibility: 

DIMIA AMEP criteria apply.ISLPR 1- to 1.Also some places may be available for fee paying clients.
