This course provides an introduction to academic writing, reading, listening and speaking skills through general coursework, seminars, factual reports and assignments.Test-taking skills are also developed and practised.

This course provides frameworks and strategies for a range of workplace communication skills. It also examines cross-cultural issues which may affect the ability to speak with confidence.

AMEP courses offer up to 510 hours of English language training to recent arrivals, leading to the outcomes of the Certificate of Spoken and Written English levels 1, 2 and 3 where appropriate. This competency based course aims to develop proficiency in listening,speaking, reading and writing.
