The course is for people from non-English speaking backgrounds to develop their language and study skills while training in one of the vocational areas. It is a shorter version of EVP Certificate III.
Course Content:
The course includes 11 vocational strands:
Accounting, Business Catering, Child Studies, Commercial Cookery, Community Welfare, Computing Skills for the Office, Electrical/Electronics, fabrication Engineering, Horse Industry Studies, Information Technology, Office Clerical Skills, Business Studies and Aged Care Work.

Outcomes:

Eligibility:
Permanent residents, eligible temporary residents accepted by TAFE and adult Australian citizens from non-English speaking backgrounds. ISLPR 2.

Dates and Times:
20 hours per week for 9 weeks or 10 hours per week for 18 weeks. February to December 2003.
