Course Summary:
The course aims to improve English pronunciation skills, paying particular attention to developing fluency and clarity. The emphasis is on practising listening and conversational skills.
Course Content:
The course focuses on the main features of spoken English including rhythm, stress, and intonation. It aims to develop awareness of differences in sounds and the ability to recognise and reproduce particular sounds. Listening, speaking and conversational skills are practised in a variety of contexts to maximise spoken ability in everyday situations.
Outcomes:
Certificate III in Spoken and Written English modules
Eligibility:
The course is suitable for people from a non-English speaking background with at least an intermediate level of proficiency in spoken English. ISL PR 2 and above.

Dates and Times:
Courses offered every 5 weeks. Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday 6.30 - 8.30pm and Saturday 9.00am -1.30pm. Four hours tuition per week for 5 weeks.
